Casement Window
A casement window is a window that is hinged at the side and swings outward (or inward in some designs) like a door, usually operated with a crank handle or lever.
- Single casement: One sash that swings open.
- French casement: Two sashes hinged on opposite sides, opening outward without a central mullion.
- Push-out casement: Opens by pushing instead of using a crank.
